-The new hs-11 is only good if you can use the brake with the reach almost all the way out (damn racist brake...). Otherwise, the pads need to be too close to the rim.
-It has more power than the previous generation hs-33, and there is less resistance in the lever throw.
-Because of the increase in leverage and piston ratio, the brake engagement is less stiff. A booster should make this a bit better, but it won't be as solid as the previous generation
